Robert Strickland

Robert Strickland has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Robert started their career in 2013 as a 25N-Nodal Network Operator in the US Army, where they supervised and maintained IP-based electronic nodal systems. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Master Control Operator at WFXB Fox TV, managing telecommunication programming and ensuring smooth operations.

In 2016, Robert also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Coastal Carolina University, where they developed 3D visualizations for climate model data using Python and WebGL.

From 2018 to 2020, they served as a Software Engineer I at Cepeda Systems & Software Analysis, Inc., working on software development, testing, and installation for radar emulation projects.

In 2020, Robert joined Northrop Grumman as a Cyber Software Engineer, where they designed and developed applications software and systems.

In 2021, they became a C++ Software Engineer (Research Scientist) at Georgia Tech Research Institute, focusing on developing middleware platforms and Python log analysis tools.

Prior to that, they completed their high school education at North Stafford High School from 2006 to 2010, focusing on Advanced Studies. In terms of additional certifications, Robert obtained the following:

- CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) from CompTIA in June 2020.

- CompTIA PenTest+ ce Certification from CompTIA in June 2020.
