Ruth Fisher

Ruth Fisher, MBA, is vice president for heart and vascular services, imaging services and respiratory care. Fisher also has responsibilities for short stay and the Office of Research/IRB at The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. She joined Cone Health in April 2019.

Fisher came to Cone Health from Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, where she served as vice president of the five-hospital health system’s heart and vascular service line.

Fisher earned a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from University of Michigan. She is a certified medical practice executive and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Fisher is a founding member of the National Cardiogenic Shock Initiative and served on the executive committee for the Detroit Heart Walk from 2017-2019.
