Vesna Kovacevic has over 20 years of work experience in various roles. Vesna began their career as an Assistant of Planning Engineer at Vojvodina Pro-Ing in 1992 and worked there until 1995. Vesna then worked as a Civil Engineering Technician and Auto Cad Drafter at AGRICON INTERNATIONAL COMPANY from 1996 to 1997.
In 1998, Vesna became an Administrative Assistant at Heartland Appliances Inc. Vesna worked in this role until 1999. Vesna then transitioned to a Customer Service Sales Representative position at WMI HOME SENSE from 2004 to 2006.
Vesna joined TD Bank Group in 2006 as a Customer Service Representative and Secure Desk Operator. Vesna worked there until 2010.
Since 2012, Vesna has been working at the Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning as a Statistics and Fees Officer. In this role, they coordinate various aspects of tuition fee collection and follow-up, produces reports on fees payment, admissions statistics, and KPI Grad data, and acts as the primary contact for fees set up and student inquiries.
Vesna Kovacevic has a diverse education history. Vesna completed an Office Software Applications Certificate at Conestoga College in 2013, specializing in the use of various software applications for office tasks. In 2018, they enrolled again at Conestoga College and pursued studies in Intercultural Customer Service, Recognition of Learning Certificate, and EDI, which focus on providing excellent customer service in a diverse and inclusive environment. Vesna also obtained certifications in Microcomputer Application and specialized in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Additionally, Vesna holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Sarajevo. Their degree has been recognized by ICAS Canada, indicating its equivalence to Canadian standards.
Vesna has also pursued further professional development through various certifications. In 2020, they obtained a Learning Zoom certification from LinkedIn, which demonstrates their mastery of this online communication platform. In 2019, they earned certifications in Building Professional Relationships, Consulting Foundations: Client Management and Relationships, Managing Stress, and Mental Health First Aid from institutions such as LinkedIn and the Mental Health Commission of Canada. These certifications showcase Vesna's commitment to continuous learning and personal growth in both technical and interpersonal skills.
