Mark Surdyka

Mark Surdyka is an experienced educator currently serving as an 8th Grade Math Teacher at Coney Island Prep since September 2023. Prior to this role, Mark held the position of Director of Technology at Fontbonne Hall Academy from July 2013 to September 2023. Mark also has a background in teaching mathematics at various institutions, including Dominican Academy, Nazareth Regional High School, and St. John's Prep, where Mark taught for nearly eight years. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from St. John's University between 1999 and 2003 and received a Regents Diploma with Honors from New Hyde Park Memorial High School in 1999.
