Kyla Groulx

Kyla Groulx currently serves as an Indigenous Student Navigator and Instructor at Confederation College, where responsibilities include instructing students both in-person and online, grading assignments, and collaborating on curriculum development. Additionally, Kyla has worked as a Cocktail Waitress/Bartender at The Keg Steakhouse + Bar since May 2012, assisting patrons with menu selections and training new staff. Previous teaching experience includes a role as an Instructor at Oshki-Pimache-O-Win Education and Training Institute, where support for student development and monitoring concerns was provided. Kyla's early career involved being a Teaching Assistant at Lakehead University, grading assignments, proctoring exams, and tutoring math. Additionally, experience as a Legal Secretary at Shaffer Jobbitt Law Firm included managing clerical tasks and maintaining legal files. Kyla obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics from Lakehead University.
