Margaryta Mare

Margaryta Mare, MD, MSc, serves as the Senior Medical Director and Head of Safety and Pharmacovigilance at Confidence Pharmaceutical Research since January 2024. Prior to this role, Margaryta held the position of Associate Director Medical Affairs for Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance at MMS from January 2019 to January 2024, where responsibilities included leading safety and medical monitoring activities, developing training programs, and overseeing product safety surveillance. Margaryta also contributed as an instructor at MMS Academy, authoring the “Integrated Pharmacovigilance” course aimed at enhancing industry skills. Earlier in the career, Margaryta worked at PSI CRO AG in various roles related to pharmacovigilance and clinical research from October 2005 to December 2018, and began with a strong foundation in medicine, having practiced as an endoscopist, pediatrician, and otolaryngologist. Margaryta holds multiple degrees, including an MD in Pediatrics and an MSc in Psychology, along with a background as a registered nurse.
