Henrik Hulgaard

Henrik Hulgaard has an extensive work experience in the field of information technology and academia. Henrik started their career as an Assistant Professor at the Technical University of Denmark in January 1996 and served in that role until June 1999. Following this, they worked as an Associate Professor at the IT University of Copenhagen from July 1999 to May 2002. During their tenure at these educational institutions, Henrik gained valuable knowledge and expertise in the field.

In May 2002, Henrik joined Configit where they held various roles over the years. Henrik started as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), responsible for the overall architecture of the company's product portfolio and leading research and development efforts on the VT technology. Configit specializes in providing configuration platforms to Fortune 500 automotive and industrial machinery manufacturing companies. Henrik's commitment and capabilities led him to be promoted to the position of Vice President of Product Management in March 2023, which they currently hold.

Through their work at Technical University of Denmark, IT University of Copenhagen, and Configit, Henrik has demonstrated a strong background in academia and leadership roles in the technology industry.

Henrik Hulgaard has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Washington, which they completed between 1990 and 1995. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc in Electrical Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where they studied from 1985 to 1990.
