Serhat Pala

Serhat Pala is an experienced investor and mentor with a history of working in the venture capital and technology industries. Serhat's career began in 2009 when they joined Rotary International as a Member. In 2013, they co-founded Confirm BioSciences, a diagnostic commercialization company, and served as a Special Advisor. From 2014 to 2021, Pala worked as an Angel Investor, investing in early stage companies in B2B SaaS, Digital Health, Cybersecurity, Diagnostics, Medical Device, IoT, Future of Work, HRtech, Adtech, AR/VR, and Mental Health, as well as Limited Partner in Emerging Funds in the US. In 2021, they joined Breakaway Partners OU as Co-Founder and Partner, providing investments, strategic support, mentorship and market launch/entry support, while providing Pre-Seed and Seed Round funding. Serhat also joined 500 Global as a Mentor, NuFund Venture Group as an Investor, and Techstars as a Startup Mentor at Accelerator Program. In 2022, they became a Co-Founder General Partner of Cross Ocean Ventures, the leading go to early-stage investor of choice for ambitious high growth technology company founders in Europe and Israel that plan to expand to the US market, as well as a Mentor (Deep Tech and Digital Tech) at Endless Frontier Labs. Serhat is currently an Angel Investor at Fund Fellow Founders (fff.vc).

Serhat Pala began their educational journey in 1992 when they attended Boğaziçi University and earned an undergraduate degree in Economics. Serhat then went on to pursue an MBA from San Diego State University, which they completed in 1999, with a focus in Finance, International Business, and Commercialization.
