Akio Shimizu

Akio Shimizu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and management roles within the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Solutions Engineer at Confluent since February 2022, Akio previously held the position of Manager of Systems Engineering at Nutanix, focusing on the service provider industry. Prior to Nutanix, Akio worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation and began a career as a Marketing and Pre-Sales Engineer at Network Value Components. Akio holds a bachelor's degree in Law from Gakushuin University, earned between 1993 and 1997.
