Richard Nwankwo

Richard Nwankwo is an experienced sales execution strategist at Confluent, where responsibilities include implementing innovative sales strategies to drive revenue and collaborating with various teams to enhance pipeline growth. Previously, as a Global Product Specialist Manager, Richard led a team that supported the early sales cycle for a technical product. Richard also worked in Cloud Enablement, assisting the Kafka community with real-time streaming in cloud deployments. Prior to Confluent, Richard served as a Tech Fellow at Flockjay, focusing on retraining jobseekers for tech sales roles, and worked as a Cloud Architect, helping teams optimize their use of AWS services to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Richard began a career as a Full Stack Engineer at Visneta, where project management and product development were pivotal. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Temple University.
