Gustav Tollemar has a diverse work experience with various roles in finance. Gustav started their career as a Financial Operations Intern at AstraZeneca in 2009 and later became a Financial Planning and Reporting Intern at the same company in 2010. Gustav then worked at Reckitt Benckiser as a Financial Analyst and later as a Logistics & Freight Financial Analyst from 2011 to 2013. After that, they joined The Linde Group, where they served as a Senior Financial Analyst (Operations), Global Sr. Financial Analyst (Operations), and Team Lead - Operations Finance from 2013 to 2016. Gustav then moved to BASF and held positions as Sr. Financial Analyst - Group Controlling, Commercial FP&A Manager, and Personal Care Controller | Digitalization Manager from 2017 to 2022. Currently, Gustav is working at Congoleum as the Director of Finance and will transition to the role of Vice President of Finance in 2023.
Gustav Tollemar has a diverse educational background. Gustav completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Economics, and International Business at Penn State University from 2006 to 2010. In 2010, they also attended Copenhagen Business School for a brief period to study Economics and International Business, although they did not obtain a degree from there. In 2011, Gustav pursued a Master of Science degree in Accounting at Seton Hall University, which they completed in 2013.
In terms of additional certifications, Gustav obtained their Green Belt - Lean Six Sigma certification from The Linde Group in September 2015. To further enhance their professional development, they attended The Wharton School for Executive Education and completed the Leadership Strategies program, focusing on business leadership. Gustav's education journey demonstrates their dedication to acquiring knowledge and skills in finance, economics, accounting, international business, and leadership strategies.
