Emily Besthoff

Emily Besthoff currently serves as the Assistant Director of Lifelong Learning at Congregation Emanu-El of the City of New York, a position held since October 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Community Manager at Romemu from November 2020 to October 2022, and Assistant Director of Operations at Emerge Yoga & Wellness from August 2019 to October 2020. Emily also held the position of Director of Youth Engagement at North Shore Synagogue from July 2014 to February 2017 and was the Youth Director at Temple Bnai Torah from September 2009 to June 2014. Emily holds a Master's degree in Religious Education from Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion, a Certificate in Adolescents and Emerging Adults from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from State University of New York at Old Westbury.
