John started their career as a financial services representative at Interactive Data in 2010. John then became a data support consultant and then a funds consultant. In 2012, they left Interactive Data to join Charles Schwab as a registered representative and service specialist. In 2014, they were promoted to associate financial consultant. John then became vice president - financial consultant in 2016. John left Charles Schwab in December 2016 to join Congress Wealth Management as a wealth manager.

John Berry graduated from Milton High School and then attended Assumption College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. John then went on to attend the College for Financial Planning, where they earned a degree in financial planning.
