Sarah Pauly is a knowledgeable researcher and conflict analyst with extensive experience in humanitarian military interventions and conflict studies. Currently serving as a Student Assistant at the PRIF Peace Research Institute Frankfurt, Sarah contributes to the Humanitarian Military Interventions project under Dr. Thorsten Gromes. In addition, Sarah works at CONIAS Risk Intelligence as a Conflict Analyst, focusing on conflicts in Central and Eastern Africa. Previous roles include researching various global conflicts and writing articles on lesser-known issues for CONIAS, as well as collaborating with the Heidelberg Institute for International Conflict Research as a researcher and author of annual conflict reports. Complementing professional experience, Sarah is pursuing a Master of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies at the Zentrum für Konfliktforschung at Philipps-Universität Marburg, building on a diverse educational background that includes degrees in Political Science, History, and International Relations.
