Ahmed Almukhtar

Ahmed Almukhtar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the film and technology sectors. As the Founder and Managing Director of Luminary Group since March 2013, Ahmed leads the company's vision and operational strategy. In addition, Ahmed co-founded Silky Otter Cinemas and serves as an advisor, while also holding positions as Director and Partner at Brew'd Hawt and Commercial Advisor at Conical. Previously, Ahmed was the COO and Co-Founder of Cinema Logic, and the Operations Director for 20th Century Fox and Universal Pictures Theatrical in New Zealand. Early career experience includes roles as Senior Account Manager at Ricoh New Zealand Limited and Business Development Manager at Digital World. Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Commerce in Information Systems and Operations Management from The University of Auckland.
