Ciaran O'Brien has been working in the software engineering industry since 2017. In that year, they worked as a Graduate Software Engineer at Accenture, where they developed five separate, integrated REST and SOAP web services with public facing APIs for payroll software vendors to integrate into their software. Ciaran also worked as an Intern at the ADAPT Centre, where they developed a linked-data data model using Resource Description Framework (RDF) to store patient, geospatial, and time data, analysed with GeoSparql queries. In 2018, they worked as a Technical Consultant at Plat4mation, where they were the lead developer on the project with responsibility for implementing a Project Portfolio Management solution. Ciaran wrote Client/Server-side scripting, AJAX functions, business logic, and custom classes for re-usable methods in Vanilla JavaScript, and also worked with AngularJS on the Portal (frontend) customisations. In 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer at MyWallSt, and in 2021 they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Conjura.
Ciaran O'Brien attended Trinity College Dublin from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Business. Prior to that, they attended Gonzaga College, Dublin from 2007 to 2013.
