Daniel Kwak

Daniel Kwak, Ph.D., has a strong background in the medical field. Daniel has held various roles at CONMED Corporation and Johnson & Johnson, where they served as a Sr. Director of R&D Sports Medicine and R&D Director of the Trauma Division within the DePuy Synthes segment. Daniel was also the R&D Director of the DePuy Synthes Asia Pacific Research Center, leading the development and launch of products for emerging markets. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineer at DePuy Synthes in the Spine Division. Before their industry experience, Daniel worked at Harvard Medical School as an Instructor in Orthopedic Surgery, where they conducted research, secured grants, and taught courses in orthopedic biomechanics.

Daniel Kwak obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering / Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University, where they studied from 1987 to 1997.
