Alyssa Hoffert

Alyssa Hoffert has a diverse work experience in the music industry. Alyssa worked as a Selmer-Paris Artist at Conn-Selmer, Inc. starting in July 2015. Alyssa also served as the Principal Saxophonist at Liberty Wind Symphony from November 2014. Before that, they were a Soprano Saxophonist at La'Ventus Quartet since August 2012. Alyssa has been a freelance musician and educator since January 2007, specializing in saxophone, woodwind, piano, and vocals. Alyssa has also worked with various educational institutions, such as Lutheran West High School, Independence High School, Shaker Heights City School District, and Notre Dame College, in roles such as Instrumental Music Director, Choral Music Director, and Music Instructor. Additionally, they have performed as a Saxophonist with the Maryland Wind Festival in June and July 2017, and with the Firelands Symphony Orchestra in November 2011. Overall, Alyssa's work experience showcases their talent and expertise in music performance and education.

Alyssa Hoffert began their education at Independence High School from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained their high school diploma. Following this, they attended Case Western Reserve University from 2008 to 2012 and earned a Bachelor of Science (cum laude) in Music Education. During the same period, they also pursued studies in Music Theory, Analysis, and Keyboard at the Cleveland Institute of Music.

After completing their undergraduate degree, Alyssa Hoffert enrolled at The Hartt School from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Master's degree in Saxophone Performance. Subsequently, they attended the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional (CRR) de Boulogne-Billancourt from 2015 to 2017, where they pursued a Cycle d'Orientation Professionnelle (COP) in Saxophone Performance.

In addition to their formal education, Alyssa Hoffert holds a certification in Music Education K-12 from the Ohio Department of Education. The details regarding the obtained month and year for this certification are not provided.
