Ernestina Rubio-Mozos

Ernestina Rubio-Mozos has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Currently, they work as an Evaluation and Monitoring Expert at the European Commission since April 2023. Prior to that, they were the President of Planet4People, a role they held since October 2018. Ernestina also founded and served as the Managing Director of NoEsUtopia, a strategic consulting and research company focused on sustainable tourism. Ernestina held this position since May 2004.

In the past, Ernestina worked as the Senior Managing Director Spain and later as the Managing Director of CWW connectworldwide, a sales and marketing representation company for the travel industry in Spain and Portugal. Ernestina started in the company in March 2005.

Ernestina has also taught at various universities, including Universidad para la Cooperación Internacional and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Prior to their Ph.D., Ernestina completed a Master's Degree in Sustainable Tourism Management & Administration from Universidad para la Cooperación Internacional from 2010 to 2012. This program provided their with a strong foundation in managing and administering sustainable tourism initiatives.

Ernestina also holds a Master's Degree in Hotel Management & Administration from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, which they obtained between 1988 and 1990 under the guidance of the Institute for Tourism Training (ICE). This degree equipped their with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the administration of hotels.

Ernestina's undergraduate studies were conducted at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos from 1984 to 1987. Ernestina earned a Bachelor's Degree in Travel & Tourism Industry Administration from the Escuela Oficial de Turismo. This program provided their with a comprehensive understanding of the travel and tourism industry.
