Brian Aiken

Brian Aiken has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Brian started their career at GE in 1999, where they held various roles including Mechanical Technical Lead for Smart Meters and Lead Engineer for LV Switchgear and Appliances. In 2014, they joined Nexus Controls as a Senior Electrical Packaged Systems Engineer, focusing on project engineering for custom turbine control hardware. In 2023, Brian moved to ConnectDER as a Principal Systems Engineer, leading product architecture and requirements engineering in the distributed energy industry. Throughout their career, Brian has demonstrated expertise in mechanical design, product development, and implementation of engineering processes to drive product quality and on-time delivery.

Brian Aiken received their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1998.
