Dave Hoover

Dave Hoover is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across the technology sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Connected Development since November 2009, Dave has also held positions as VP Advanced Technology, President, and Vice President of R&D within the same company. Prior to Connected Development, Dave was the Managing Director of R&D at Sierra Wireless from 2006 to October 2009 and held a Software Engineering Manager role at Sony Ericsson from 2001 to 2006. Early in the career, Dave served as Software Engineering Manager at Ericsson and worked as a Software Engineer at Motorola. Dave holds a degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, obtained between 1987 and 1991.
