Kolton Harris is an experienced arts and community engagement professional currently serving as a Program Associate at the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development since September 2020, where responsibilities include developing and coordinating cultural programs, overseeing grants, and managing various events. Additionally, Kolton is an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at the National Theater Institute, focusing on immersive workshops for emerging theater practitioners. Previously, Kolton held leadership roles at Writer's Block Ink, including Executive Director and Artistic Director, promoting social change through the arts and guiding young artists. Earlier experience includes founding the WAVE symposium event series and working with youth at Groton Parks and Rec and Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Kolton holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Connecticut College.
