April Paterno has a strong background in development and fundraising. April started their career in 2009 as the Director of Development at Connecticut Landmarks, a position they held until 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they served as the Director of Development, Institutional Giving at the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. Currently, April is the Vice President of Development at the Connecticut Science Center, a role they have held since June 2021. Prior to this, they were the Director of Development at the same organization from 2014 to 2021.
April Paterno completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Economic & Public Policy at The George Washington University from 1990 to 1994. April then went on to earn a Masters of Public Administration degree from the same university from 1994 to 1996.
