Chief Of Engineering Service 2 at Connecticut Technical Education and Career System

Donald Poulin has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and facilities operations. Donald started their career in 2001 at the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services where they served as the Director of Facilities Operations for nearly two decades. In 2020, they joined the Connecticut Technical Education and Career System as the Chief of Engineering Services/School Infrastructure. Later in 2022, they assumed the role of Chief of Engineering Service 2 in the same organization.

Donald Poulin attended the Porter and Chester Institute, where they studied Architectural Engineering and Civil Design. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications including Level Two Certification from Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP) in 2010, Environmental Health and Safety for Facilities Managers from the Construction Institute at the University of Hartford in 2007, Level One Certification from NEEP in 2007, and several certifications related to Facilities Management from the Construction Institute at the University of Hartford in 2007. Donald also holds a Contract Documents Technologist certification from the Construction Specifications Institute, which they obtained in 2000.
