John P. Ryan

John P. Ryan has a diverse work experience, beginning in 1999 as a Teacher, Program Director, and Coordinator for Bristol Public Schools. From 2011 to 2014, they served as Department Chair of Applied Studies at Bethel Public Schools. John P. then transitioned to Connecticut Technical High School System, where they worked as an Assistant Principal from 2014 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Principal at Connecticut Technical Education and Career System since February 2021.

John P. Ryan's education history includes a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in History/Social Sciences Interdisciplinary from Central Connecticut State University in 1998. John P. later obtained a Master's Degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from the same institution, with an end year of 2009. Additionally, they earned a 6th Year Educational Leadership degree with a focus on Intermediate Administration and Supervisor Certificate (Endorsement 092) from Central Connecticut State University, also completing in 2009. John P. is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Instructional Leadership at Western Connecticut State University, expected to be completed in December 2023.
