Melanie Perry

Melanie Perry serves as the General Education Department Head at the Connecticut Technical Education and Career System since August 2005, overseeing various departments including English, Social Studies, and Music, while facilitating professional development and collaborating on curriculum implementation. Previously, Melanie held positions such as Interim Assistant Principal, Department Head-Library Media Specialist, and English Language Arts Teacher, showcasing extensive experience in leadership, instructional support, and educational technology. Additionally, Melanie has contributed as a Union Steward for SVFT-AFT Local 4200A and has participated actively in various school and district committees. Melanie holds multiple advanced degrees, including a 6th Year Certificate in Educational Leadership-Special Education, and has a strong foundation in English Literature and Secondary Education.
