Layni Cade

LAYNI CADE is a dedicated public servant and educator with a diverse background in municipal governance and teaching. Since October 2013, LAYNI has served as a City Council Member and Planning and Zoning Commissioner for the City of Pearland, Texas, while previously being a member of the Parks, Recreation, and Beautification Board. LAYNI is also a Secondary Teacher and School Event Representative at Connections Education since November 2013, and held roles at K12 - Texas Virtual Academy from August 2008 to November 2013, including Middle School Lead Teacher, Teacher Trainer, and Blackboard Administrator. LAYNI holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Historical Studies from the University of Houston and attended Texas A&M University.
