Doug Klein

Doug Klein, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Doug currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Connections Health Solutions. Prior to this, they held the position of National Director of Human Resources at Make-A-Wish America for eight years. Doug also worked as the Head of Organizational Development at LifeLock for two years and as an Organizational Development Consultant at Apollo Education Group for two years. Before that, they served as the Human Resources Director at Banner Health for five years.

Doug Klein, SHRM-SCP, holds a Master's degree in Organizational Development from Bowling Green State University, which they obtained from 2000-2002. Prior to that, they received their Bachelor's degree in Education from the same university, from 1997-2000.

In addition to their degrees, Doug has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Doug became a Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) through the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance in August 2020. In June 2020, they earned the Workforce Trends and Leadership e-Certificate from the same institution.

Doug has also completed various certifications and trainings in several areas. In February 2018, they obtained the "DECIDE: The Neuroscience of Breaking Bias" certification from the NeuroLeadership Institute. In November 2015, they became a Certified Facilitator Everything DiSC through Everything DiSC: A Wiley Brand and completed "The Five Dysfunctions of a Cohesive Team" program by Wiley.

Furthermore, Doug earned a certification in Performance Consulting from Friesen, Kaye and Associates in April 2011. Doug also completed the "Mapping and Developing Emotional Intelligence at Work" certification from Essi Systems, Inc. in August 2010.

Doug'scontinuing education and professional development include the Lominger Leadership Architect and Lominger VOICES 360 certifications from Korn Ferry in November 2009. In September 2007, Doug attained the Group Facilitation Methods certification offered by the Institute of Cultural Affairs USA.

Finally, in July 2019, Doug became a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
