Shiva Shankar

Shiva Shankar has an extensive work experience spanning over 25 years in various fields including technology, cloud management, analytics, and machine learning. Shiva'smost recent role as an Architecture Specialist was at Botnotch, where they started working in January 2021. Previously, they co-founded ConnectSecure and FissionCloud in 2019 and 2014, respectively. Shiva'smost significant professional achievements have been at HashInclude, where they were the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer since November 2010. Shiva'srole involved seeding new ventures and collaborating on the development of telepresence systems and unified communications. Shiva also spearheaded the development of storage driver and ZFS replication driver. Before their stint at HashInclude, Shiva had worked at Cobot Systems, FreeSystems Technology Labs, and Cisco Systems in various software engineering and technology lead roles. Shiva started their career at Siemens Public Communication Networks Pvt. Ltd. as a Software Engineer in 1996.

Shiva Shankar started their education in 1992 when they enrolled at the National Institute of Technology Warangal where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering in 1996. Shiva then continued their studies at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani where they earned their Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from 1997-1999. Shiva also obtained a certification in Big Data from Coursera Course Certificates in January 2015.
