Erin Burns

Erin Burns is an experienced educator currently serving as a 5th Grade Teacher at Cherokee Street Elementary within the Connetquot Central School District since August 2021, while also working as a Special Education Teacher at Stratford Road School in the Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District. Prior roles include teaching 6th Grade Math and Science at both Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School and East Moriches Middle School, and serving as a Special Education Teaching Assistant at West Babylon UFSD. Erin's background also includes experience in literacy and guest services, along with a strong educational foundation comprising a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Queens College and a Bachelor's degree in Human Development from Binghamton University.
