Akilah Pennington

Akilah Pennington, PMP, MHA, is an experienced project manager and healthcare professional with a diverse background in health information management and program coordination. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Connexall since June 2022, Akilah defines project scopes, allocates resources, and monitors progress to ensure timely completion. In addition to this role, Akilah has been a Senior Project Coordinator for the Kansas City Greek Picnic since January 2015, overseeing program activities and contractor support. Previous positions include Health Information Manager/Privacy Officer at Destiny Springs Healthcare, Sites Operations Manager at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, and Health Information Manager at Tri-County Mental Health Services. Akilah holds a Master of Health Care Administration from Webster University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
