Cheryl Halverson

Cheryl Halverson, SPHR, serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Connexus Credit Union since November 2022. Prior to this role, Cheryl held various leadership positions at Gongos, Inc. from October 1998 to November 2022, ultimately becoming the Chief People Officer. In this capacity, Cheryl developed comprehensive HR management processes and defined strategies for talent acquisition, training, and employee engagement. Cheryl's earlier roles at Gongos included Vice President of People Development & Planning, where a training assessment framework was designed, and Vice President of Research Group Leader, focusing on operational efficiency and employee engagement. Additionally, Cheryl served as Vice President of Retail Services, managing client relationships while ensuring revenue growth. Cheryl's career began at Murphy Marketing Research and Miller Brewing, complementing a solid educational background with a Master’s in Marketing Analysis and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the Lubar College of Business.
