Reid Walker has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Reid began their career at Bold Commerce as a Co-op Developer, specializing in Front End React Development and later transitioning into a DevOps role. Following this, Reid joined Accord Development as a Supply Chain Management professional, responsible for sourcing, warehouse operations, and management. Additionally, they also served as a Software Developer at Accord Development, where they developed an inventory control package using Microsoft Access, SQL, and Visual Basic. Reid then worked at Librestream Technologies Inc. as a DevOps Specialist, focusing on implementing and managing DevOps practices. Currently, they are working at Conquest Planning Inc. as a DevOps Cloud Engineer, responsible for maintaining and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
Reid Walker's education history begins in 2014 when they enrolled at the University of Manitoba. Reid pursued a field of study in Computer Science until 2017. After completing their time at the University of Manitoba, Reid pursued further education at Red River College Polytechnic from 2018 to 2020. Here, they obtained a Business Information Technology diploma, specializing in the field of Business Information Technology (BIT).
In addition to their formal education, Reid has also obtained a number of certifications to enhance their skill set. In February 2020, they completed the certification titled "PHP: Creating Secure Websites" through LinkedIn. More recently, Reid earned the "Azure for DevOps: Continuous Integration" certification from LinkedIn in June 2020, and the "Learning Azure DevOps" certification from LinkedIn in July 2020. Their most recent certification is the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" certification from Microsoft, which they obtained in June 2022.
