Brett Gleitsmann is a seasoned professional in water management and environmental sustainability, currently serving as a Program Officer at the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation since November 2022. Previously, Brett held the position of Regional Environmental Manager at the Rural Community Assistance Corporation, managing a $36M portfolio of water and wastewater projects. As a self-employed WASH Consultant, consulting on international projects in several African countries and Haiti, Brett designed and implemented various water sector initiatives. A strong background in technical and management roles includes experience as Program Manager at The Earth Institute and Development Specialist at DAI, alongside significant contributions in West Africa as Regional Operations Manager for Millennium Promise. Brett’s earlier roles encompass water resources coordination and civil engineering, complemented by graduate studies in Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Cornell University and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington.
