Program Manager, Research And Development at CONRAD

Melissa Donaghay is a Program Manager in Research and Development at CONRAD since June 2019. Prior to this role, Melissa was a Stay at Home Mom from April 2007 to June 2019 and served as an Assistant Preschool Teacher at Grace Weekday Preschool from September 2016 to May 2019, where assistance was provided in the 2-year-old preschool classroom. Earlier in the career, Melissa worked as a Research Associate at Eastern Virginia Medical School - CONRAD from July 2004 to April 2007, focusing on in vitro studies of microbicides on vaginal cells, utilizing lab techniques such as cell culture, ELISA arrays, and western blots. Additionally, experience as a Research Associate at Greenville Hospital System was gained from July 2003 to July 2004, assisting with laboratory setup for Dr. Bruce Lessey. Melissa holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Embryology and Andrology from Eastern Virginia Medical School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science - PreVet from Clemson University.
