Javier Briones

Javier Briones is a Quality Assurance Manager at ConsenSys since July 2022, overseeing a team of 8 to ensure the quality of Web3 projects and implementing ephemeral Kubernetes environments with local blockchain networks. Prior to this, Javier served as a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at SCRM - Lidl International Hub from April 2021 to July 2022, where responsibilities included ensuring the integrity of the omnichannel payment system and establishing CI/CD testing tooling using Azure pipelines and Docker. At Piksel Inc, from July 2018 to April 2021, Javier focused on test automation frameworks for video on-demand streaming projects using Java and various testing tools. As Team Lead at Technica Engineering GmbH from October 2015 to June 2018, Javier managed a team verifying network protocol stack requirements for BMW, while earlier at BMW Group from May 2013 to January 2015, the role involved designing testing scenarios for a new Ethernet TCP/IP protocol. Educational credentials include an MSc in Project, Genetic Algorithms from the University of Stuttgart and an MSc in Computer Science and Software Engineering from Universidad de Granada.
