Simon Morris

Simon Morris has a diverse and extensive work experience. Simon currently holds the position of Chief Strategy Officer at ConsenSys since April 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Larke Business Solutions, Inc. starting in June 2017, where they focused on early-stage projects and advising. In 2019, they joined the Libra Association as the Head of Product, a position they held until August 2019.

In their previous roles, Simon served as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at BitTorrent, Inc. from November 2017 to July 2018. Simon played a crucial role in product and positioning decisions during the cryptocurrency boom, leading to BitTorrent's acquisition by TRON in May 2018. Simon also held the position of Chief Product Officer at RealtyShares from June 2016 to May 2017.

Simon has a strong background in BitTorrent, Inc., with various roles including GM BitTorrent Media from February 2015 to April 2016, SVP Products, UX & Data from September 2013 to February 2015, VP Data Science from December 2011 to August 2013, and VP Marketing and Products from July 2007 to March 2012.

Before their tenure at BitTorrent, Simon worked at Openwave Systems, where they served as Director of Product Management from May 2005 to June 2007. Simon was also Director of Pricing from May 2002 to May 2005. Prior to that, they worked at Verisign as a Senior Product Marketing Manager from June 2001 to May 2002. Simon'scareer began at Mercantil Inc., where they held the position of VP Product Management from June 1999 to April 2001, focusing on product and business strategy along with securing VC investment.

Simon Morris completed their BA and MA+MPhil in Politics & Economics from the University of Cambridge between 1989 and 1993. Simon later pursued an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 1998 to 2000.
