Arnab Bhattacharjee has extensive experience in the tech industry. Arnab began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Inktomi Corporation in 1999. In 2003, they joined Yahoo! as a Vice President and Head of Search Platform. In this role, they managed the Yahoo Search Technology team and was responsible for all engineering activities from crawling to the search engine. Arnab was then promoted to Vice President and Head of Yahoo! Search Technology, where they built and managed a team of 8 engineers and was responsible for the development of the Dreadnought distributed batch processing infrastructure and the Webmap. In 2011, they co-founded and became CEO of Jybe, Inc. In 2013, they rejoined Yahoo! as Vice President II - Mobile Search, Knowledge, Personalization, Ad Targeting. During their time at Yahoo!, they rebuilt Yahoo's mobile search engine in 1 year and built a modern knowledge graph that serves as the underpinning of multiple Yahoo products. Arnab also scaled Yahoo's personalization technology to drive home page engagement growth 2X. In 2017, they became CEO & Co-founder of Consider.
Arnab Bhattacharjee completed a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee from 1994-1998.
