Surinder Dhillon

Surinder Dhillon has over 30 years of experience in IT and management roles. Starting in 1990, Surinder worked as an Applications Designer/PC Support at GKN Sankey, where they were responsible for designing and maintaining applications and providing PC support. From 1994 to 1997, Surinder served as a Manager of Application Development at AirTouch, overseeing the administration of Oracle Financials and leading application development for various departments. In 1997, Surinder became an IT Lead on the implementation team at AirTouch Cellular, responsible for delivering Oracle applications for Finance, HR, and Materials Management. From 1998 to 2000, Surinder worked as a Manager of Software Systems Engineering at Vodafone AirTouch, managing production support and application development for Oracle Financials. At Verizon Wireless from 2000 to 2002, Surinder was a Director of Financial Systems, leading a team responsible for converting legacy systems to PeopleSoft. Surinder then joined SureWest in 2002 as a Director of ERP Systems, managing all aspects of PeopleSoft Application Management for Finance, Human Resources, and EPM Budgeting. Since 2012, Surinder has been working at Consolidated Communications, initially as a Director of IT and currently as a Senior Director of IT. In this role, Surinder is responsible for managing PeopleSoft and Hyperion applications, overseeing production support, development, upgrades, patching, and integration to other systems. Surinder is also currently involved in selecting an Enterprise Incentive Compensation system.

Surinder Dhillon attended Handsworth Grammar School from 1980 to 1986. Surinder then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Leeds from 1987 to 1990.
