Chris Yarnell

Chris Yarnell is a seasoned professional in the field of geology and mining, currently serving as the Business Manager at Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC since April 2021. Prior to this role, Chris accrued extensive experience at Nyrstar from January 2010 to April 2021, holding various positions including US Project Superintendent and Mine Manager, with responsibilities that encompassed technical leadership in production geology activities and oversight of grading controls. Chris also worked as a Mine Geologist at East Tennessee Zinc Company and held multiple roles within the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, focusing on radiological monitoring and regulatory oversight of hazardous waste sites. Chris began the professional journey as an Associate Geologist at Condor Earth Technologies and a Staff Geologist at The LawGibb Group, following the attainment of a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Tennessee Technological University in 1997.
