Scott Couture has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to production research, development, integration, and program integration advising. Scott currently serves as the Senior Director of Production Research, Development, and Integration at Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Production Science & Technology Maturation at the same company. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Program Integration Advisor at Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC.
Before joining Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC, Scott Couture worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Scott served as the LLNL On-Site Liaison at Y-12 from 2016 to 2019 and as a Special Assistant for WCI PAD from 2014 to 2016.
Additionally, Scott Couture worked at the Department of the Air Force, where they served as the Principal Advisor for Nuclear Plans and Policies to the Under Secretary of the Air Force from 2012 to 2014.
Scott started their career at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in 2003, where they held various positions such as Senior Technical Director for USSTRATCOM and Stockpile Systems Group Leader/Core Surveillance Project Leader.
Scott Couture earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1982. Scott further continued their education at Virginia Tech and completed their Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1985.
