In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications, including Level 3 Rope Access Technician certification from the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians in February 2021. Benjamin also holds a Professional Engineer (PE) license from the Oklahoma State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, which they obtained in March 2019, and another PE license from the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration, obtained in February 2018. Benjamin has completed training in Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges from the FHWA National Highway Institute in January 2018, and Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges from the National Highway Institute in August 2014. Benjamin began their professional journey as an Engineer In Training certified by the State of Arizona in September 2013.
