Carly Husband has had diverse work experience in various industries. Carly currently works as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at CONSOR Engineers since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Human Resources Generalist at Murraysmith from October 2019 to December 2021, where they were responsible for new hire onboarding, payroll management, benefit administration, and employee reviews. Before their role as a Generalist, they worked as a Human Resources Assistant, supporting staff with personal and professional needs, managing timekeeping and payroll processes, benefit administration, and assisting HR managers and recruiters. Carly initially gained HR experience as an intern at Murraysmith, where they learned about HR processes, including time sheets, payroll, open enrollment, benefit processes, and recruiting and onboarding. Carly also has experience as a Senior Counselor at Young Musicians & Artists, overseeing the camp administration and managing a team of counselors. Carly has served as a Student Teacher at Portland State University's Helen Gordon Child Development Center, caring for children aged 0-4 and teaching new team members. Additionally, they worked as a Summer Camp Counselor at Young Musicians & Artists, assisting with songwriting classes and taking care of children in grades 4th-13th. Earlier in their career, Carly worked as a Benefits Coordinator at Pacific Dental Services, where they handled insurance benefits verification, payments, receptionist duties, and office management tasks.
Carly Husband obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on Human Resource Management, from Portland State University. This educational journey took place from 2015 to 2018. In addition to their degree, Carly acquired a certification in Talent Sourcing from LinkedIn in March 2023.
