Kenny Wiggins has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Kenny most recently worked as a Senior Project Engineer at CONSOR Engineers starting in 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Public Works Consultant at the University of Tennessee Municipal Technical Advisory Service (UT-MTAS) from 2021. Before entering consulting, Kenny retired as a Public Services Director in 2020.

Kenny'scareer in public service includes roles such as Public Services Director at the City of Alcoa, Tennessee from 2016 to 2020 and as Public Works & Engineering Director from 1992 to 2016. Kenny also worked for the City of Maryville as an Environmental Engineer from 1989 to 1992, overseeing water and wastewater system improvements and construction projects.

Starting in 1987, Kenny transitioned to the private sector, working as a Project Manager at Martin Marietta Energy Systems, where they focused on waste management and underground storage tank facilities. Prior to that, they held various positions at the City of Maryville, including City Engineer, Assistant City Engineer, and Engineering Aide/Draftsman, where they managed engineering projects and ensured compliance with city codes and ordinances.

Before their tenure in municipal engineering, Kenny began their career as a Survey Crew Chief at Sterling Engineering and an Engineering Technician at Sehorn & Kennedy Engineers. Kenny also worked as a Draftsman at Wilbur Smith & Associates.

Kenny Wiggins completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, completing their education in 1986.
