Lea Connors Pe

Lea Connors, PE has extensive experience in civil engineering and project management. From 2019 to present, they have worked at CONSOR Engineers as a Professional Engineer IV, where they have successfully delivered design projects for municipal water utilities, focusing on drinking water infrastructure. Lea'sresponsibilities include civil and mechanical design, cost estimating, permitting, and construction.

Prior to their current role, Lea worked as a Design Engineer at JVA from 2017 to 2018. Lea handled various projects related to utility infrastructure, drainage, erosion control, roadways, and parking areas. Lea also conducted detailed site grading, developed reports, and performed design using Civil3D.

Lea's experience also includes working as a Design Team Lead at Engineers Without Borders from 2013 to 2017. During this time, they were involved in surveying and designing a water system for a community of 800 people. Lea also provided assistance in community planning and maintenance knowledge for the water system.

In 2016, Lea gained further experience as a Civil Engineering Intern at the National Park Service. Lea ensured the quality of construction for a water and wastewater system in a highly visited area of the park. Additionally, they identified and resolved safety hazards and assisted with design changes.

Lea's early career includes working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2015, where they focused on researching the effects of burning different types of solid fuel on air quality in homes. Lea also assisted in producing publishable content about the research project.

Lea started their professional journey as an intern at Lockheed Martin in 2013, gaining valuable exposure to the industry.
