Alexander Tifase

Alexander Tifase has had a long and varied career in the banking and cyber security industries. Alexander began their career in 2006 as a NYSC at First Bank of Nigeria Ltd. In 2008, they took on the role of Retail Banking Officer at Access Bank Plc, where they were responsible for vault administration, issuing and liquidation of drafts, and preparation of schedules for clearing cheques. In 2018, they moved to VobaLink as a Cyber Security Engineer (VM and DLP), where they were tasked with understanding the use cases and workflows of DLP, defining and implementing DLP management and monitoring, and understanding business and helping in the implementation of different policies to protect sensitive information. As of 2023, they are currently employed as a DLP Engineer at Consortium Networks.

Alexander Tifase has a history of education that includes an MBA in Finance from Ladoke Akintola University of Tech in Ogbomosho from 2009 to 2011, a Professional exam in Banking, Corporate, and Finance from the Institute of Chartered Economic of Nigeria from 2011 to 2013, and an HND in Banking and Finance from Ondo State Polytechnic in Owo from 2000 to 2005. Alexander has also obtained additional certifications, such as AWS Certified Security-Specialty from Amazon Web Services in 2022, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in 2021, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services in 2021, CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in 2021, and ICEN.
