Aleksander Weiler

Aleksander Weiler, CFA has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Aleksander is currently the Chief Investment Officer at Constanter, where they manage the Constanter Investment Office and oversees the assets of the Brenninkmeijer family entrepreneurs' charitable foundations. Aleksander has built and oversees high-performing teams across various investment areas, including asset allocation, macro, portfolio implementation, private equity, real estate, public markets, and diversifiers investing. Aleksander also oversees investment risk management and operations to support the Total Portfolio Approach.

Prior to their current role, Aleksander held various positions at CPP Investment Board. As the Managing Director, Macro Strategies, they built an internal Macro Strategies program and led the development of strategic tilting capabilities. Aleksander also added strategic partnerships capabilities and oversaw macro co-investments. As the Managing Director, External Portfolio Management, Aleksander managed external portfolio management and was part of the leadership team that built and managed a hedge fund portfolio exceeding $40 billion. Additionally, they established and headed the London office, where they oversaw fixed income, emerging managers, and co-investment programs.

Earlier in their career, Aleksander worked at Greenwich Roundtable as a Fellow, Weyerhaeuser Asset Management LLC as a Portfolio Strategist, Tremont Capital Management as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager, TD as a Vice President and Eurobond Trader, RBC Capital Markets in their Generalist Program, Loewen Ondaatje McCutcheon as an Equity Research Associate & Economist, State Street as a Hedge Fund Accountant, and the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me) (JET) as an Assistant High School English Teacher.

Aleksander Weiler, CFA, received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Economics and History from Queen's University in 1992. Aleksander obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in 1998. In 2021, they also obtained the Mental Health First Aid certification from the Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England.
