Andreas Meier

Andreas Meier has several years of experience in the rail industry. Andreas is currently working at CAF (Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles) as the Head of Rail Services Operations Deutschland Heavy Rail. Prior to this, they worked at Abellio GmbH as the Head of Fleet Management for seven years. Before that, they worked at Alpha Trains as a Fleet Engineer and at Deutsche Bahn as the Deputy Head of Capacity Management.

Andreas Meier has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Technische Betriebswirtschaft from Fachhochschule Südwestfalen. Andreas also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechatronische Systeme/Elektrotechnik from the same institution. Additionally, they have a Berufsausbildung Mechatroniker from Deutsche Bahn. Andreas is currently pursuing the Speexx Spanish CEFR Level A1 certification, which is expected to be obtained in 2023.
