Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions for educational technology. At SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has been involved in hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and related educational devices. Previously, Chris developed firmware and diagnostic tools for similar products at SMART Technologies. With experience as an electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, Chris designed and repaired educational devices. Additional experience includes serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary and working as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, where Chris focused on control systems for forestry machinery. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
