Michele Giannotti has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal field. Michele started their career as an associate at Studio Legale BP from 2005 to 2007. Michele then joined Eni in 2008, where they held various positions including Legal Manager, Manager of Legal Assistance, and Head of Commercial R&M Legal Assistance. During their time at Eni, they handled a wide range of legal matters including contract drafting and negotiation, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, project financing, marketing operations, and arbitration. In 2020, they joined Eni Trading & Shipping as the Head of oil trading & shipping legal assistance. Michele continued their career as a Legal Manager at Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. from 2022 to 2023, before becoming a Legal Manager at Agip Karachaganak B.V. from 2023 to 2024. Currently, they serve as the Head of Legal Contracting, Commercial & Financial law at Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane.
Michele Giannotti obtained a Master's degree in Oil&Gas Law & Economics from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in 2007-2008. Prior to that, they completed their law degree in Giudiziario Forense from Università degli Studi di Napoli from 2001 to 2005. Additionally, they were admitted to the Italian bar as an Avvocato Speciale ordine avvocati di Roma by Ordine Avvocati di Milano. Furthermore, they attended Seconda Università degli Studi di Napoli for the Scuola di Specializzazione per le Professioni Legali in 2006, though the degree earned and end year are unspecified.
